If you come at the right time of year, Ontonagon River - Middle Branch offers some glorious whitewater, and do take a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. During the days of summer at Interior Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the night is slightly chillier of course,       ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; nighttime lows at Interior Lake through the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. Have a great hiking adventure along the North Country National Scenic Trail. The annual rainfall here at Interior Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Interior Creek flows through this region;                  there are other locations here than Interior Lake, for example Sumac Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Little Falls is always fun to check out, and a golf course nearby is Lac Vieux Desert Golf Course. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
