There's so much to do here at Indian Town Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Vagabond Resort and Campground is a perfect location for that, and why not a little side journey to Granskog Creek. The snow is magnificent at Gladstone Ski Park, and a tremendous close by hotel is Econo Lodge Escanaba. The yearly       rainfall here at Indian Town Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during August; the driest of the months is February. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Indian Town Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Indian Town Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Town Lake is                  fine enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering Valley Campground is a fine local campground, and while you're here, do take a spree to Chippewa Point. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Escanaba is a great site to spend a night or two, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Haymeadow Falls Trail. You just have to have a thing about Indian Town Lake.
