If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Brule is near Indian Lake; float down the rapids of Brule River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Pine River offers some brilliant whitewater; Indian Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Iron County Pentoga Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Iron River Koa Kampground is always a delightful experience, and at Indian Lake

Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Chicagon Lake in close proximity to Indian Lake, and let's not forget Wagner Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Indian Lake highs are regularly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Indian Lake. | |

Hiking along the Lauterman Trail is brilliant fun, and if you need a site to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a delightful choice. Indian Lake is a good place of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly August,
that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Indian Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. A beautiful lake like Minnie Lake in the neighborhood of Indian Lake is a splendid location to pop by, and the skiing at Brule Mountain is tremendous.

The original emigrant settlers of the area during the middle 1800’s were attracted to its virgin forests and the rich mineral content of the ground. That untouched beauty remains only in a few unique areas left over from bygone days. Paint River Hills is truly one of those areas.
The highlight of Paint River Hills Campground is its hiking trail along the Paint River. The loop trail, about half-mile long, winds through and around the rock bluffs and hills that form the banks of the Paint River and for years has been the playground of local youngsters. The name “Paint River Hills” is the term used by locals to describe the location of the campground. Youngsters have named other areas such as Peeper Hollow, Big Rock Candy Mountain, White Pine Lookout, Fairy Tale Swamp, Rock Fort, Thistle Swamp and Camel Back Lookout.
