Swamps can be such interesting spots, stop by Spring Lake while you're here at Idlewild Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Idlewild Lake, you could explore Blood Creek, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Big Rapids, Mi is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Putman Lake Camping is a good spot to do that, and the Ward Hills Snowmobile       Trail offers hiking at its best. If you get bored of Idlewild Lake, you could also pop by nearby Switzer Lake; there's magnificent hiking along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail. At Idlewild Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
