This is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes. Long Lake is a lake nearby, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Red Cedar River. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Hunton Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Hunton Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake       is so wonderful. Eagle View Golf Club is a great golf course close by; if you need a spot to stay Jackson Travelodge is a fine choice. A magnificent close by hotel is Fairfield Inn By Marriott Jackson; you're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Jackson here. Hunton Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact                  abundant here at Hunton Lake.
