Humphries: Hunt Lake is a beautiful private lake with an abundance of wildlife, wetlands, as well as fisheries resources. It is only 10 acres in size, however, it is known for its' abundance and large sized Northern Pike. Access is completely private and may not be accessed without private land owner's permission. Cielo Nature Sanctuary is a private nature sanctuary located on the North and East sections of the lake which enhance its' importance as a habitat for fisheries, wildlife, and waterfowl. A normal amount of rain falls here at Hunt Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Townline Lake, and if you came to camp Paris Park is a great site to do that. Summertime highs       at Hunt Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows at Hunt Lake during the wintertime typically descend into the 0's. If you get bored of Hunt Lake, you could also stop by close by Nehmer Lake; why not take a little trip to Higginson Creek if you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A golf course close to Hunt Lake is Katke Golf                  Course, and there are plenty of folks from Big Rapids here at Hunt Lake.
