At Hummerson Lake you always meet someone from Midland, and a fine close by hotel is Gladwin Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Guernsey Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure; if you came to camp Calhoun Campground is a wonderful location to do that. Good hiking is available along the Center Fireline Trail, and you can go for a hike on the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail. There's so much to do       here at Hummerson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sugar Hills Campgrounds is a great site for that, and White Star Motel is a glorious spot to get some rest. Hummerson Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hummerson Lake. All through the warmest time of                  the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Hummerson Lake. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's.
