Through the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Hummerson Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Hummerson Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The Guernsey Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Quality Inn West Branch is a splendid site       to get some rest. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Hummerson Lake. Hummerson Lake is right by the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail. There's so much to do here at Hummerson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sugar Hills Campgrounds is a great location for that. Take a hike on the Center Fireline Trail, and Swan Lake is a great lake close by. The amount of rainfall that falls at Hummerson Lake is close to the national average;                  the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
