This lake is so wonderful. K O A Kampgrounds is a good campground nearby, and Horseshoe Lake is not the only place close by, Long Lake is a close by lake. Treetops Sylvan is a very popular ski area close at hand, and if you've had enough of Horseshoe Lake, Chain-O-Lakes is nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Gaylord Michaywe Kampground       is a great location to camp, and Gaylord Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Horseshoe Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; most of the rain falls all through September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much amusing stuff to do at Horseshoe Lake, so little time.
