Stay the night at Township Campground, and do stop by Kennedy Lake, it's a stunning lake. From a rain point of view Horseshoe Lake is a reasonably common spot; September is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Newberry is a wonderful site to get some rest. Horseshoe Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Fox River Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and while

At Horseshoe Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Horseshoe Lake through the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. | |
