Holden Lake is a good spot of typical rain; September is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Mistwood Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Crystal Mountain; a delightful nearby hotel is Crystal       Mountain Resort and Spa. So many cool things near Holden Lake, completely phenomenal. Skiing at Homestead is one of those things you just should do; a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Boardman River. Summertime highs at Holden Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Holden                  Lake. If you haven’t been to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, you must schedule some time for it since you're here, and camping at Sunnywoods Platte River is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds, as expected you could also have a look at Sweet Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
