For the period of the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Hipps Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Hipps Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Hipps Lake is peerless! Stay the night at Schnable Lake Family Campground, and if you're a golfer then a tremendous       nearby course is Prairiewood Golf Course. Lakes are tremendous; Barbour Lake is a lake that's next to Hipps Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Kalamazoo Super 8 Motel. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Timber Ridge since you're here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Kalamazoo River. A normal amount of rain falls here at Hipps Lake; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. What                  would winter be without some skiing at Bittersweet; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Kalamazoo-Portage for sure. This lake is so wonderful.
