 | Fisk is a great lake to fish on. You must have a kayak or canoe to gain access through the channel that runs between Reeds and Fisk. Put your boat in on the West side of lakeside across from the dock at Reed's lake next to the municipal building. Have Fun... |

Bittersweet
 | 16 miles away Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area.... |
Freska Lake

I'm currently doing research and looking for information on the family..my Grandmother in particular. She died approx. in 1930. My Dad as a young man used to rent boats on the lake and used to take me fishing there in the 50's.... |

There are many fun things you can do at Tri Ponds!!There are many cemented paths through Tri Ponds for all you joggers, skaters, and skateboarders!!I've camped there all my life and it is an awesome place!... |
Cannonsburg
 | 22 miles away This is like a local little ski hill but places like Cannonsburg are good when you really gotta go skiing for a few hours. It's not like Colorado but it's nice to get your ski muscles warmed up a bit and suck in some refreshing winter air.... |
Timber Ridge
 | 24 miles away It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill.... |
