Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Hill Lake. Have a good hiking adventure along the North Country Trail. At Hill Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hill Lake       temperatures fall to the 0's. Lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Cedar Lake next to Hill Lake, and there are plenty of people from Sault Ste. Marie here. From a rain point of view Hill Lake is a relatively common spot; September is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Inn at StoneCliffe is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Bay City Lake Campground is a magnificent campground                  here. A good nearby hotel is Grand Hotel, and Hill Lake is right by the Mackinac Trail.
