Near Hill Lake you discover the Horseshoe Bay Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; if you came for an overnight stay St Ignace Koa Kampground is a glorious site to camp. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the vicinity of Hill Lake has to offer. Camping is available at Bay City Lake Campground,       and going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a great adventure. Hill Lake is not far at all from Sault Ste. Marie, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay The Inn at StoneCliffe is a good choice; since you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Round Lake. At Hill Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into                  the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Hill Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
