After a long day outdoors Double JJ Thoroghbred Suites is a great location to spend a night or two, and the Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Hill Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with       most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hill Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Pere Marquette Campground is a nice local campground, and a lovely lake like Oxbow Lake is a nice place to stop by. Don't leave Hill Lake without first paying a visit to Gillen Springs, and Bradford Lake is a pleasant lake close by. Through the long summer days highs here at Hill Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight                  lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Hill Lake all through the winter ordinarily drop into the 10's. Hill Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.
