Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Low Lake; a delightful place to camp here at High Lake is Lakeside Camp Park. High temperatures at High Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Croton Dam Float Trips

Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
