     Hidden Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Shady Acres Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby; Treetops Sylvan is a pleasant local ski area. Stay the night at Sno-trac Camper Village, and a striking lake like Crystal Lake is a nice spot to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There's a forest here at Hidden Lake called Presque Isle State Forest, and after a long day outdoors Treetops Resort is a delightful location to spend a night or two. You'll  
   discover a wonderful lake called Little Crystal Lake near Hidden Lake.
A common amount of rain falls here at Hidden Lake; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Hidden Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Hidden Lake sink into the 0's.

... Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience.
