     You can run the rapids of Pike River in the vicinity of Hidden Lake, and why not a little side trip to Burke Creek. A good site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Hidden Lake is Menominee River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is pretty near. Be careful coming to Hidden Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Hidden Lake is a site with many visitors from Marinette, and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain,  
   MI is a pleasant site to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hidden Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hidden Lake.
Stephenson Motel is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Shakey Lakes Park is a good site
 
               to camp. Lakes? Sure, Muskrat Lake is in the vicinity. Hidden Lake is a good location of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Lost Lake is a delightful lake next to Hidden Lake.

Shakey Lakes Park
This camp ground is the best I travel 346 mi or 6 hours to enjoy it. Unfortamatly not this year =[...i like camping alot and this is one of the better places I have gone because you can do alot to entertain yourself and theres always good fishing on the lakes so I highly reccomend this campground to anyone that wants to have a good time and lots of fun....This is a nice campground but there are alot of seasonal sites that fill the park...this is a nice camping spoy with plenty of attractions you wont be disappointed...
