Timberland Campground is a great campground nearby; Crooked Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. After       a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express CHELSEA is a fine location to spend a night or two, and Hi-Land Lake is a spot with many visitors from Ann Arbor. Hi-Land Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Hell Creek Ranch is a fine place to camp nearby, and soar down the rapids of Huron River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Mount Brighton, and if you're a golfer then a great close                  by course is Timber Trace Golf Club. Summertime at Hi-Land Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
