is a great hiking trail nearby called the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Sturgeon River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Haywire Lake has
to offer, you can camp at Lower Dam Lake Campground. Not far from Haywire Lake, you'll locate Pequet Lake which is a lovely lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Perch River.
