Not far from Hatt Pond you stumble on Pyramid Point, and do stop at Shell Lake, it's a scenic lake. Best Western Scenic Hill Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest, and camping is available at Lime Lake Campground. The yearly precipitation here at Hatt Pond is about average; September is the wettest       month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. After a long day outdoors Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City is a good place to spend a night or two; King's Challenge Golf Club is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Homestead is a very popular ski area around here, and Hatt Pond is a place with many visitors from Traverse City. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the warm months here at Hatt Pond, high temperatures                  usually get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hatt Pond. If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Hatt Pond.
