The yearly rainfall here at Haskell Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Near Haskell Lake you find the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail which is a good hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn West Branch is a magnificent place to       spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the long summer days at Haskell Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Haskell Lake fall into the 0's. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If the weather is delightful here at Haskell Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lame                  Duck Truck Trail, and do take some time to stop at Ogemaw State Forest while you're here. Super 8 West Branch is a good site to get some rest, and West Branch Country Club is a great golf course close by. A striking lake like Heintz Lake in the neighborhood of Haskell Lake is a fine spot to go to. There's so much to do here at Haskell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Branch Travel Park is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
