Have a great hiking adventure along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Harwell Lake has to offer, you can camp at Croton Dam Float Trips. Croton Dam Float Trips
 | 1 PHOTO ...ak, raft, & tube adventures on the Big Muskegon River departing from Croton Dam. Accepting reservations for 2009 equipment rentals beginning May 1, 2009. Reservations highly recommended as we offer the lowest rates on the Muskegon River in the Newaygo Area for your river adventures.
Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
