A great place to camp here at Hartman Lake is Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Traverse City for sure. Summertime highs at Hartman Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's;       night lows in the 10's for Hartman Lake. The yearly precipitation here at Hartman Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through September; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Scenic Hill Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest. Lakes are perfect; Lime Lake is a lake that's next to Hartman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the entertaining stuff at Hartman Lake. Hartman Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Sunnywoods Platte River is a glorious local campground; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Crystal Mountain if you're here.
