From a rain point of view Hartley Lake is a relatively common place; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hartley Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Ontonagon                  River - South Branch offers some glorious whitewater. On a tremendous day at Hartley Lake you can take a hike along the Alligator Eye Trail; you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Stickley Lake is one of those nearby. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes.
