The skiing at Homestead is perfect. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hart Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lime Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Boardman River, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Traverse City. | | right next door to Hart Lake. This is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Cook Lake is a lake close by, and Courtyard Traverse City is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Lots of folks from Traverse City come to Hart Lake, and Crystal Mountain is a great local ski area. So many amusing things to do at Hart Lake, so little time. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mistwood Golf Course; a spree to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is worthwhile. | |

The annual precipitation here at Hart Lake is about average; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. High temperatures at Hart Lake through the warmest
time of the year are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while Hart Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
