On a fine day at Hare Pond you can take a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail, and there's whitewater on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch for all you adrenaline people. All through the warm months here at Hare Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hare Pond. Why not camp at Marion Lake Campground

| | and Picnic Area if you're here at Hare Pond. If you get bored of Hare Pond, you could also stop by nearby Locust Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Sparrow Rapids Campground is a great place to camp.
The amount of rain that falls at Hare Pond is close to the national average; during September this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Coral Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; dry warm beds await you at Wild Eagle Lodge. | |
