At Hardwood Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's while Hardwood Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. A typical amount of rain falls here at Hardwood Lake; of all the months in a year       September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Elkwood Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Otsego Club and Resort. There's so much to do here at Hardwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sturgeon River Campground is a good place for that; Treetops Resort is a magnificent site to get some rest.
