Pine Nob is a very popular ski area close by; there's fine hiking along the Grass Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Hanover Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come       with lows in the 10's to Hanover Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Seeley Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Hanover Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wolverine Campground is a great local campground.
