Hamilton Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Battle Creek Downtown is a delightful spot to spend a night       or two; people from Battle Creek love to come here. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Hamilton Lake has it all. Hamilton Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Old Orchard Campground is a great local campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Purdy Lake. At Hamilton Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the                  wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while Hamilton Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
