Hancock Recreation Area is a pleasant local campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Otter River - West Branch. From a rain point of view Hall Lake is a pretty typical location; January is the wettest month with most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime       highs at Hall Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Hall Lake.
