Chippewa River is a delightful whitewater spot near Half Moon Lake, and if you came to camp South Shore Campground is a great location to do that. Summertime highs at Half Moon Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Half Moon Lake. This       is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Getting to Mud Creek from Half Moon Lake is uncomplicated. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Mt Pleasant is a nice place to get some rest, and Pleasant Hills Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Bass Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn University Park.
