Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Clare; Owl Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Half Moon Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting       wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River. During the summertime at Half Moon Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's.
