Gyttja Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Cadillac is a perfect spot to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the McKenzie Ski Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Peterson Bridge S Campground       is a great campground nearby, and Pleasant Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Cadillac Sands Resort is a good choice; obviously Brandy Creek is a scenic stream that is worth going to. Go for a hike on the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Wedgewood Golf Club; Birchwood Resort and Campgrounds is a great local campground. That right                  there is plenty already, but it carries on; Gyttja Lake has it all. Turnbolm Point is in the vicinity and always good to explore, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Cadillac here. Hit the slopes at Caberfae Peaks around here; close by you locate the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail which is a great hiking trail. High temperatures at Gyttja Lake through the summertime are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
