Gyttja Lake is right by the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail. Through the warmest time of the year at Gyttja Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Gyttja Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail, and after a long day outdoors Cadillac       - Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Cadillac Sands Resort. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gyttja Lake has to offer, you can camp at Birchwood Resort and Campgrounds. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do near Gyttja Lake. There's so much to do here at Gyttja Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Peterson Bridge S Campground is a nice spot for that; Brandy Creek is one of the streams                  nearby that might be worth a visit. Caberfae Peaks has good slopes and a friendly staff, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pine River. Playing golf is lots of fun at Wedgewood Golf Club, and Turnbolm Point is close at hand and always great to pop by. The yearly precipitation here at Gyttja Lake is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
