If you like lakes and you're in this part of Michigan you can check out Gull Lake. Kalamazoo River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Jones Lake Campground. Gull Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Stoney Point Trailer Park is a delightful campground here, and Butterfield Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.

For the period of the summer at Gull Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gull Lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Gull Lake.
