Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Muddy Lake in the vicinity of Grimes Lake; do take a hike on the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Island Lake       is a stream that you may stumble upon while here; a beautiful lake like Hartney Lake is a magnificent location to visit. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Grimes Lake. Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a good place to get some rest; Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a very great spot to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Au Train River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Big Island                  Lake Portage Canoe Trail.
