Take a little trip to Schweitzer Creek since you're here at Lake Gribben, and Marquette-Days Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. At Lake Gribben throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows all through the winter for Lake Gribben tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.       Head up to Marquette and strap some skis to your feet, and Lake Gribben is not far at all from Marquette. This lake is so wonderful. Escanaba River - East Branch is a fine whitewater spot near Lake Gribben; a good nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Marquette. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Gribben. Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a nice local campground, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is                  Escanaba River - Middle Branch. There are other places here than Lake Gribben, for example Grace Lake, and Lake Gribben is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Country Village RV Park is a wonderful place to camp nearby. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Gribben is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Lakes?
