Head up to Marquette and strap some skis to your feet, and Lake Gribben is not far at all from Marquette. There are delightful places to look at along the Holyoke Trail, and a wonderful place to camp here at Lake Gribben is Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Gribben with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down       to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Gribben fall into the 0's. The yearly precipitation here at Lake Gribben is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. A tremendous close by hotel is Comfort Suites Marquette, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Escanaba River - East Branch.
