This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Island Lake is a lake close at hand, and Wawonowin Country Club is a golf course close by. After a long day outdoors Marquette-Days Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or       two, and there's some flowing water close by, Bell Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here. Any time is a nice time at Greenwood Reservoir if you like the outdoors. This is a popular location for folks from Marquette; there are some good whitewater spots on Yellow Dog River. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lowmoor Lake is near Greenwood Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Greenwood Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Country Village                  RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Greenwood Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Michigamme Shores Campground is a tremendous location for that, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Holyoke Trail. Summertime at Greenwood Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Greenwood Reservoir.
