     If you came for an overnight stay Fox River Campground is a great place to camp, and if you get bored of Green Pond you could also stop at nearby Twin Lakes. Green Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. For the period of the summer highs here at Green Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. During the  
   winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Green Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Newberry is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
Why not camp at Township Campground if you're here at Green Pond, and a lake close by is Johns Lakes.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
