A lake close by is Dentel Lake, and Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Throughout the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Green Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Booth Lake since you're here at Green Lake; it's nearby, and Best

| | Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a nice place to get some rest. There's wonderful hiking along the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails, and drift down the rapids of Perch River in a kayak.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Green Lake is a good place of common precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. Paddling on Sturgeon River is so much fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Lower Dam Lake Campground is a tremendous place to camp.
