This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a delightful       place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Grassy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Au Train Lake Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Grassy Pond is right by the Chatham Ski Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Au Train River. Take a hike on the Valley Spur Ski Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Munising. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Grassy Pond, and the                  nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Grassy Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Grassy Pond. Visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
