     There's so much to do here at Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moscow Maples RV Park is a great spot for that; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn JACKSON NORTHWEST is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. Goose Lake is a location with many visitors from Jackson, and if you get bored of Goose Lake you could also check out close by Lake Le Ann. Goose Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's  
   the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Braxee Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; a magnificent close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Jackson, MI.
If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Goose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Somerset Beach Campground. Through the days of summer here at Goose
 
               Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Goose Lake during the winter commonly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Lake Leann Golf Course & Driving Range, and the peak of Bunday Hill can be seen from Goose Lake.

They have canoe rentals, karaoke on holiday weekends, a fishing/swimming lake, little arcade, showers, bathrooms, horseshoes, boats to rent by the day, a playground, volleyball court, their sites are well maintained and shady, and the staff is very friendly and very involved in keeping up the campground.
