     Gingell Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Acres Campground is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Otsego Club and Resort is a good place to spend a night or two. An average amount of precipitation falls at Gingell Lake; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the days of summer at Gingell Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the  
   sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Gingell Lake. Camping at Sno-Trac Village is always a magnificent experience, and Treetops Resort is a wonderful location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Gaylanta Lake close to Gingell Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and a pretty lake like Lunden Lake is a glorious place to go to.

... the Alpine Village of Gaylord, Michigan. It receives an annual snowfall of 175 inches, which provides the ideal setting for fantastic Alpine and Nordic skiing. Twenty-three downhill runs wind their way through the majestic hardwood forest that covers the 400-acre winter park. Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert.
