High temperatures at Gillon Lake during the warm months are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Gillon Lake. Gillon Lake is a good site of common precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the       one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. A great spot to camp here at Gillon Lake is Hesperia Campground, and Double JJ Thoroghbred Suites is a fine place to get some rest. Why not camp at Oak Knoll Campground while you're here at Gillon Lake; if you're visiting from Muskegon-Norton Shores, you won't be the only one. Looking for something in the vicinity of Gillon Lake? Hightower Lake is in close proximity, and if the weather is tremendous,                  you can go for a hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
