If you came to camp Jones Lake Campground is a great spot to do that, and Baymont Inn & Suites Battle Creek Downtown is a perfect place to get some rest. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. Gilkey Lake is a good place       of normal precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Don't miss out on a good swamp; Blachman Swamp is right here at Gilkey Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Shallow Gilkey Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
