Enjoy a round of golf at Oakland Hills Country Club not far from       Gilbert Lake, and a lake nearby is Minnow Lake. A fine location to camp here at Gilbert Lake is Tamarack Camps, and you'll most likely meet some people from Detroit-Warren-Livonia here. This lake is so wonderful. Gilbert Lake is not the only place nearby, Chalmers Lake is a nearby lake, and Radisson Hotel Detroit-Bloomfield Hills is a great place to get some rest.
