This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Pine Hills Golf Course, and camping at Lansing Cottonwood Campground is always a good experience. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Lots of folks from Lansing-East Lansing come to Giffels Lake. Giffels Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation;       the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. A magnificent nearby hotel is Super 8 University/ East Lansing, and Giffels Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Moon Lake Campground is a great local campground. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott East Lansing is a good place to spend a night or two, and Blood Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. All through the warm                  days of summer at Giffels Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Giffels Lake are in the 10's.
