Spring Lake is a delightful lake near Garver Lake. There's so much to do here at Garver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunny Haven Recreation Park is a good location for that, and Christiana Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Candlewood Suites ELKHART, and a round of golf at nearby Garver Lake Golf       Course is a delightful way to kill some time. During your visit to Garver Lake you'll meet some folks from South Bend-Mishawaka for sure, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Elkhart North is a great place to spend a night or two. Garver Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, South Bend East KOA is a splendid local campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on East Race. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to                  do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Garver Lake. Lakes? Sure, Coberts Lake is around here; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Swiss Valley. Garver Lake gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. For the duration of the summertime months at Garver Lake highs are usually in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
