After a long day outdoors Cadillac - Days Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and Crystal Mountain is a very popular ski area       close by. Sportsman's Port is a good campground nearby, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Hodenpyl Dam Pond is just a very short distance away. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Garlett Pond; Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail is a great local trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine River. Good hiking is available along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Having a wonderful time at Garlett Pond is trouble-free.
