If you haven’t been to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, you should schedule some time for it since you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Furnace Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wandering wheels Campground. From a precipitation point of view Furnace Lake is a pretty normal site; the month with most of the rain is September while       February is typically the driest month. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail, and a visit to Bay Furnace is always a great idea. Throughout the days of summer here at Furnace Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Furnace Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn                  Express MUNISING-LAKEVIEW, and there are other places here than Furnace Lake, for example Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Gongeau Creek, and you're sure to stumble upon some great folks from Escanaba here. Furnace Lake really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
