After a long day outdoors Woodland Motor Lodge is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Lakes are tremendous; Kyle Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Frog Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay AuSable Valley Hotel and Conference Center is a brilliant choice, and the slopes of Skyline Ski Slide are so inviting nobody can resist. High temperatures at Frog Lakes during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the

The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Frog Lakes dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. If you came for an overnight stay Kneff Lakes Campground is a nice site to camp; Hanson Hills is a great local ski area. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience. Tubing is separate from the ski area and is available for a ''ride on the wild side.''
